Board Changes and New Finance Director

McBride plc, Europe's leading supplier of private label household and personal care products, announces today the appointment of Ian Johnson as Finance Director with effect from 18 August 2008.

Mr Robert Beveridge has resigned as a director of the Company and as Finance Director with immediate effect.

Ian joins from Taylor Wimpey where he is currently the Commercial Director for operations in the US having been previously the Group Financial Controller of Taylor Woodrow. Before joining Taylor Woodrow he worked with Regus as Group Financial Controller and prior to that with Exel in various financial roles. 

Iain Napier, Chairman, commented.

"I would like to welcome Ian to McBride and wish him every success in his new role. Ian's background with major international companies combined with his extensive experience in finance will be a strong addition to the Company's Board and management team.
