Trading update
Mobile Tornado (AIM: MBT), the Instant Communications services provider for mobile devices, is pleased to announce that the encouraging momentum detailed in the Company's final results for the year ended 31 December 2012, announced on 18 April 2013, has continued in the first half of the current financial year with trading remaining in line with the Board's expectations for the full year.
Recurring license fee revenues have continued to grow, showing a 27 per cent. improvement on the comparative period in the prior year and a current monthly run rate 34 per cent. ahead of that at the year ended 31 December 2012.
The Board anticipates commercial launch of Instant Communication platforms with certain operators in South America and Europe during the second half of the current financial year. Platform trials with operators across North America, Africa, Europe and Asia have proved encouraging and in the second half of the current financial year, we will look to make further progress towards commercial launch with operators in these geographies.
As at 30 June 2013, the Company had net debt of £3.6 million (as at 31 December 2012: £3.3 million).
