Director dealings

Petro Matad has been notified that on 19 March 2009 its Chief Executive Officer, Mr Douglas McGay purchased 150,000 ordinary shares of US$0.01 in the Company ('Ordinary Shares') at a price of 10 pence per Ordinary Share. Following this purchase Mr McGay has a beneficial interest in 5,750,000 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 5.95% of the Company's issued share capital.

Petro Matad is the parent company of a group focused on oil exploration, as well as future development and production in Mongolia. The Group's principal asset is the 100 per cent. ownership of a PSC over Block XX, a petroleum block of 14,250km2 in the far eastern part of Mongolia.
