Latchways PLC04 April 2005 4 April 2005 LATCHWAYS PLC PRE CLOSE TRADING UPDATE The Board of Latchways plc is pleased to provide the following update on tradingin advance of its preliminary results for the year ended 31 March 2005. Since the interim results on 16 November 2004, trading has remained strong andthe Group continues to make excellent progress. As a result, we expect to reportpre-tax profits slightly ahead of current market expectations. The outlook forthe new financial year remains positive and we continue to operate in a healthycommercial environment with good order books across the Group. It is expected that the preliminary results for the year will be released onTuesday 14 June 2005.
