LSR Group acquired Obukhov plant of building materials and structures

OJSC PO Barrikada (a subsidiary of LSR Group) has received a notification from the registrar on the ownership transfer of 85.94% of OJSC Obukhov plant of building materials and structures to OJSC PO Barrikada.OJSC Obukhov plant of building materials and structures, founded in 1973, is now one of the largest reinforced concrete producers in St. Petersburg. It produces a wide range of reinforced concrete items for residential, industrial, commercial and infrastructure construction. The plant also produces ready-mix concrete and mortar. According to the market research agency Resheniye, Obukhov plant of building materials and structures is one of the five leading reinforced concrete producers in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, while PO Barrikada is the largest one.Annual production capacity of the plant with one-shift working day is 35 th cub.m of reinforced concrete and 90 th cub.m of ready-mix concrete.

Thanks to this acquisition LSR Group solidifies its market share in the reinforced concrete and ready-mix concrete market of St. Petersburg and expands its product range - in addition to traditional reinforced concrete products the acquired company produces a range of reinforced concrete items the Group did not produce before.
