Local Shopping REIT (The) PLC29 August 2007 The Local Shopping REIT plc 29 August 2007 The Local Shopping REIT plc ("the Company") confirms that following theallotment and admission to the UK Official List on 29 August 2007 of 3,897,246of the Company's ordinary shares of nominal value of 20 pence in respect of theCompany's acquisition of Gilfin Property Holdings Limited (announced via RNS on23 August 2007), the total number of the Company's shares in issue is100,492,790 ordinary shares of nominal value of 20 pence. This figure includes63,750 ordinary shares held in treasury. Accordingly, the total number of votingrights in the Company in issue is now 100,429,040.
