In accordance with its obligations under rule 5.6.1 of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules,Β The Local Shopping REIT plc ("the Company")Β notifies the market of the following:
As at 31Β JanuaryΒ 2009,Β the Company'sΒ capital consists ofΒ 91,669,870Β ordinary shares with voting rights. TheΒ CompanyΒ holdsΒ 9,164,017Β ordinary shares in Treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights inΒ TheΒ Local Shopping REIT plc isΒ 82,505,853.
The above figure (82,505,853) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in,Β the CompanyΒ under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
