Notification of Director's Share Transaction

Pursuant to paragraph 3.1.4R of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules, The Local Shopping REIT plc ("the Company") announces that on 1 March 2010 it was notified by Stephen East, Senior Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company, that 75,000 Ordinary Shares of 20 pence each nominal value were purchased on 1 March 2010 by his self-invested pension plan at a price of 65.0 pence per share.

Following this transaction, Mr East is interested in 75,000 of the Company's Ordinary Shares.
