Transaction in own shares

London Security plc announces that on 12 January 2012 it purchased 284 ordinary shares of 1 pence each ('Ordinary Shares') in the Company for cancellation at a price of 1830 pence per share.

The purchase equates to approximately 0.002% of the issued share capital at that time.

Following this cancellation of shares, the Company's total shares in issue is 12,261,477.
