TheΒ JuniorΒ LakeΒ property:
TheΒ JuniorΒ LakeΒ property is located in theΒ provinceΒ ofΒ Ontario,Β Canada, approximately 235 kilometres north-northeast ofΒ Thunder BayΒ and is situated within the Caribou-O-Sullivan Greenstone Belt in theΒ WabigoonΒ Subprovince. TheΒ JuniorΒ LakeΒ property is host to the VW NickelΒ (Ni) Deposit,Β the B4-7 Deposit, the recently reported IronΒ Deposit, the BAM zone gold occurrence and numerous other highly prospective mineral occurrences.
B4-7Β Deposit:
In May 2008, LandoreΒ reportedΒ anΒ inferredΒ resource estimateΒ for the B4-7Β DepositΒ of 4,650,000 tonnes at 0.55% Nickel Equivalent (NiEq) (nickel plus copper-cobalt-PGE credits) at a 0.3% NiΒ cutoff. The resourceΒ estimate was independently prepared toΒ Australasian Joint Ore Reserves Committee (JORC) Code (2004)Β compliance.
A drill programme, consisting ofΒ 29Β NQ size holes (0409-200Β to 0409-228) for a total ofΒ 7,618Β metres, hasΒ recentlyΒ been completed on the B4-7Β Deposit. The programme wasΒ designed to infill theΒ remaining gaps in the deposit toΒ provide sufficient information and drill density so that aΒ newΒ Canadian National Instrument 43-101 compliant resource estimateΒ (NI-43-101)Β can be calculated,Β bringing the deposit from inferred to indicated status. Additional metallurgical testing will be completed using core from the present programme. Β
The drill programme has shown that the B4-7 deposit remains open to the west along strike and down plunge to the northwest. A previously completed airborne electromagnetic survey suggests theΒ conductiveΒ horizon hosting the B4-7 depositΒ may persist for an additional 500 metresΒ to the west of the most westerly drill holes completed to date.Β
The deposit displays excellent continuity and has considerable variation in width along strike and down dip varying from 1 - 2 metres to over 15 metres. A separate zone of highly anomalous PGE and Ni-Cu mineralization is observed in the hanging wall.Β
All drill core was photographed prior to being cut for assaying. Samples were analyzed at Accurassay Laboratories (ISO/IEC 17025),Β Thunder Bay,Β Ontario, by geochemical analysis with atomic absorption finish (Ni). All samples reporting results of 1% nickel or higherΒ areΒ re-analysed by the assay method with atomic absorption finish. Check assays, standards and laboratory duplicatesΒ areΒ performed on a systematic basis at Accurassay Laboratories. ActlabsΒ Laboratory inΒ Thunder Bay,Β OntarioΒ is used forΒ systematic checks. Core is storedΒ onΒ site and in Landore'sΒ secureΒ facilities inΒ Thunder Bay,Β Ontario. Rejects are stored at Accurassay Laboratories and in Landore'sΒ secureΒ facilities inΒ Thunder Bay.
VW Nickel Deposit:
Drilling hasΒ commenced at the VW Nickel depositΒ in order to test the down plunge continuity of the high-grade nickel shoot at the western end of the Katrina horizon.
Other Work
An airborne electromagnetic and magnetic survey was completed covering the eastern portion of theΒ JuniorΒ LakeΒ property coveringΒ Toronto Lake Area. The results are currently being evaluated and will be reported on in the near future.
Airborne magnetic and electromagneticΒ surveying was also completed in the Lamaune Area covering the western portionΒ of theΒ JuniorΒ LakeΒ property. The resultsΒ are currently being interpreted and willΒ be reported on in the near future.
Robert Fraser (M.Sc, P.Geo Ontario), Exploration Manager ofΒ Landore ResourcesΒ Canada IncΒ and a qualified person as defined in the Canadian National Instrument 43-101, has reviewed and verified all scientific or technical mining disclosure contained in thisΒ announcement, which is stated in accordance with the Canadian Institute of Mining Metallurgy and Petroleum.
