Notification of Transaction by Person Discharging Managerial Responsibilities ("PDMR")
Director Share Purchase
Longboat Energy, the emerging full-cycle E&P company, has been notified that on 7th and 10th July 2023 the Executive Directors and PDMRs purchased 314,215 ordinary shares of 10p each in the share capital of the Company ("Company Shares"). Following this announcement, the Directors, PDMRs and related parties will hold 4.7% of the total issued share capital of the Company.
In addition, various other employees of the Company acquired a further 110,493 Company Shares and these purchases, together with those made by the Executive Directors and PDMRs, will qualify as 'investment shares' under the Company's Co-Investment Plan and details of any award of matching shares will follow.
Helge Hammer, CEO of Longboat Energy commented: "The Directors believe there is significant value in both the Company's existing assets and the future potential to be gained from its joint venture with JAPEX and its nascent SE Asia business.
Notification of Deal Forms of each PDMR can be found below. The share purchases qualify for the Company's Co-Investment Plan, the details of which have been announced separately. This announcement is made in accordance with Article 19 of the EU Market Abuse Regulation 596/2014.
