Kainos appoints new Commercial Client Director to lead Digital Services in the private sector

- Andy Frost joins from BAE Systems to grow private sector offering in the UK

London, UK - 9 June 2016 - IT, consulting and software solutions company Kainos has appointed Andy Frost as Commercial Client Director in its Digital Services division. This new role has been formed to support the expansion of Kainos' public sector business into commercial sectors in the UK.

Andy has over 20 years' experience in sales and new business development, and joins Kainos from BAE Systems, where he was responsible for commercial clients in the Applied Intelligence business (previously BAE Systems Detica). He has also held senior positions at Unilog and Extraprise. Andy joins the management team in the Digital Services division and will be responsible for driving growth in Kainos' private sector business.

Kainos has already established an excellent reputation in the public sector, where it has been involved in implementing the UK government's digital transformation programme since 2013. The company now plans to apply its digital experience and credentials in new industry sectors, and Andy's appointment is a strong commitment to increased diversification. Kainos believes there is a significant opportunity to grow its existing footprint in the private sector, particularly in financial services where Andy will focus initially.
