Tony Reeves, Spur Lodge Limited Press ReleaseFor Immediate Release 5 January 2007 Tony Reeves and John Bowmer agree to acquire 62.6% of Berkeley Scott Group plc Foundation for new recruitment company portfolio Tony Reeves and John Bowmer today announce they have agreed to acquire acontrolling stake in one of the UK's leading hospitality and leisure recruitmentgroups, Berkeley Scott. The acquisition, by way of a subscription for newshares, is conditional on the approval of Berkeley Scott's shareholders. Thegroup has several hundred clients including many well known hotel and restaurantgroups. The total value of the investment is £2.5 million. Tony Reeves and JohnBowmer will become joint Chairmen of Berkeley Scott. Tony Reeves brings to Berkeley Scott more than 40 years of Board levelmanagement experience of recruitment companies. Most recently he was Chairmanand Chief Executive of recruitment group the hotgroup plc which was purchased byTrinity Mirror in October 2005 for £50.5m. He remained with the group until theend of 2005 when it was fully consolidated into Trinity Mirror. John Bowmer was the CEO of Adecco, the World's largest staffing company, and itspredecessor Adia for ten years until 2002 when he became Chairman until 2005.During his time with the group he worked in the UK, Asia Pacific and the USmaking many acquisitions including Olsten.
