Kingspan Group PLC09 May 2006 Kingspan Group plc Statement re press comment 9th May 2006 Kingspan Group Plc ("Kingspan") notes recent media speculation and confirms thatit is in discussions with the owners of the Hytherm/Xtratherm Group, an Irishand UK based manufacturer of rigid insulation board, regarding the potentialacquisition of the Hytherm/Xtratherm Group. Discussions are on-going with a proposed consideration in the region of €85million. However there is no certainty that these discussions will lead to asuccessful conclusion, and in addition any final agreement with the owners wouldbe subject, inter alia, to the approval of the Irish Competition Authority.
