Kcell JSC pays the annual dividend for 2020
Almaty, 3 June 2021 - Kcell Joint Stock Company ("Kcell" or the "Company") (LSE, KASE: KCEL; AIX: KCEL, KCEL.Y), the leading provider of mobile telecommunications services in Kazakhstan, announces that on 31 May 2021, it paid the annual dividend in the amount of KZT 17,578 million, or KZT 87.89 per ordinary share (each ordinary share representing one GDR).
On 24 May 2021, the Annual General Meeting of shareholders approved the decision to distribute KZT 17,578 million, representing 100 percent of the consolidated net income, as dividends for 2020, or KZT 87.89 per ordinary share. The record date for shareholders entitled to receive the dividends was the first business day from the date of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (25 May 2021 (00:00 AM Almaty time)). The dividends were paid in a lump sum by electronic transfer into shareholders' bank accounts.
