Jupiter Fund Management plc announces Board change

Jupiter Fund Management plc ("Jupiter", the "Company") announces the appointment of Bridget Macaskill as an independent Non-Executive Director and as a member of the Remuneration Committee, with immediate effect.

Bridget is currently President and Chief Executive Officer of First Eagle Investment Management LLC, a privately owned US asset management firm with AUM of approximately $100bn in the retail and institutional markets. She is also a Trustee of the Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association - College Retirement Equities Fund and a Non-Executive Director of Close Brothers Group plc. She has been based in the US for the past thirty years working in the investment industry where her range of roles has encompassed marketing, distribution, operations, strategy and the execution of business plans. Previously Bridget worked for Oppenheimer Funds Inc., where she spent eighteen years (1983-2001), latterly as its Chairman and Chief Executive.

Over the past twenty years Bridget has served at Board level for a range of companies, both inside and outside the financial services industry, often as a member of the Remuneration Committee. This includes the Board of Prudential plc, where she served as a Non-Executive Director for ten years and was Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and a member of the Nominations Committee. She has also served as a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Remuneration Committee of the Federal National Mortgage Association and J Sainsbury plc. Other previous Non-Executive Directorships include Scottish & Newcastle plc and Hillsdown Holdings plc.
