Change of Auditor from 2021

JSG, a leading UK textile services provider, announces that, following the conclusion of a formal competitive tender process conducted by its Audit Committee, the Board has approved the proposed appointment of Grant Thornton UK LLP ("Grant Thornton") as its external auditor to take effect from, and including, the financial year ending 31 December 2021.

The appointment of Grant Thornton as auditor is subject to approval by shareholders at the next Annual General Meeting of the Company to be held in 2021 (the "2021 AGM"). PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP ("PwC") will continue in its role as external auditor to the Company for the current financial year ending 31 December 2020. PwC were not invited to participate in the tender due to the length of its current appointment. In order to separate external audit and tax advisory services, the Board is retaining PwC as tax advisors. Further disclosure on the formal competitive tender process will be set out in JSG's 2020 Annual Report.
