Board Changes
Johnston Press plc, one of the UK's leading regional media groups, announces that Geoff Iddison has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 1 January 2010 and that Martina King, having served as a non executive director of the company for six years, has decided not to seek re-election at the Company's AGM in April 2010.
Geoff is currently global head of e-commerce and m-commerce for Mastercard. Previously Chief Executive of on-line games developer and publisher Jagex Ltd, Geoff has extensive experience of both digital industries and publishing. He worked for EBay between 2000 and 2007, latterly as Chief Executive Officer of PayPal Europe and General Manager of PayPal UK from 2003.
Martina joined the board in 2003 and is a member of the Company's audit, remuneration, and nomination committees. A non-executive director of Debenhams plc, Capita Group plc and IMD plc, she was formerly Managing Director, Europe at Yahoo! UK Ltd.

There is no further information required to be disclosed under paragraph 9.6.13R
of the Listing Rules of the Financial Services Authority relating to Mr. Iddison's appointment.
