BOARD CHANGE
Johnston Press plc ("the Company"), one of the UK's leading regional media groups, announces that Stuart Paterson, Chief Financial Officer, has resigned to pursue another business opportunity and will be leaving the Company after announcement of the full year results in March 2011. The process is currently being commenced to find Stuart's successor and a further announcement will be made at the appropriate time.
Stuart joined the Board in 2001 and has made a strong contribution to the Group's development. Commenting on Stuart's resignation John Fry, Chief Executive Officer said: "Stuart will be greatly missed by the Johnston team. He has been of great support since I joined the Company last year and I am pleased that he will be able to stay with us until March of next year. The Board wishes him every success in the future".
