Chase Nominees Limited announces that J.P. Morgan Trustee & Administration Services Limited no longer has a notifiable interest in 5,933,461 Ordinary shares. These shares are held on behalf of participants in the JPMorgan investment trust savings products. J.P. Morgan Trustee & Administration Services Limited has a notifiable interest in these shares because, in certain circumstances and subject to certain limitations agreed with the Takeover Panel to ensure compliance with the Takeover Code, JPMorgan is entitled to exercise the voting rights attached to the Ordinary shares if the relevant plan participants do not do so.

JPMorgan was entitled to exercise the voting rights attached to these Ordinary shares, as these shares had not been voted by the participants in the JPMorgan investment trust savings products in respect of the General Meeting held on Friday 10th March 2017. This entitlement has now ceased following the conclusion of the General Meeting.
