New contract win
Journey Group plc, a leading provider of in-flight products and catering services to the international airline and travel industries announces that Air Fayre CA Inc ("Air Fayre", the Group's US division) has been awarded a further contract with Federal Express Corporation ("FedEx"). FedEx provides customers and businesses worldwide with a broad portfolio of transportation, e-commerce and business services.
The five-year contract is for Air Fayre to provide in-flight catering services for all of FedEx's crew members and services for their pilot lounge out of Memphis International Airport ("MEM") in Tennessee, one of the busiest cargo airports in the United States. MEM is home to the FedEx Express global hub, which processes many of FedEx's packages operating more than 1100 flights per week on average.
This contract builds upon a relationship which Air Fayre began in 2013 and has recently renewed for a further five years from September 2015, to provide in-flight catering services to FedEx's crew members for an average of 70 flights per week out of Los Angeles International Airport.
It is anticipated that the service out of MEM will commence from 1st September 2015.

Strategically, we had already demonstrated the flexibility and scalability of our unique Air Fayre model within the Los Angeles region by expanding our customer base, significantly increasing the average number of flights catered for and adapting our product offering and services accordingly.
In replicating the model in a new US state, we have now demonstrated its transferability, the final piece of this jigsaw. This will also aid us as we continue in our pursuit of future opportunities.
Consequently, the Board is confident that the Group has now entered onto a new strategic path for growth from 2016 onwards."
