Appointment of Non-Executive Director
The Board of John Laing Environmental Assets Group Limited ("JLEN" or the "Company"), the listed environmental infrastructure fund, is pleased to announce the appointment of Hans Joern Rieks as a non-executive director of the Company. Hans' appointment will commence from 13 June 2019, coinciding with the expected date of publication of the Company's annual results for the year-ended 31 March 2019.
Hans brings considerable technical and operational experience, particularly in the wind sector across a number of European and global markets. Hans has held senior level positions with Vestas, and spent the last five years with Siemens/Gamesa where he was appointed as CEO of the Wind Power division for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Richard Morse, Chairman, said:
"We are delighted to welcome Hans to the Board and believe that his skills, background and experience in the Company's target markets will compliment the skillsets of the existing directors. We are confident that Hans will be a positive addition to the Company."
No further disclosures are required for Hans Joern Rieks in respect of paragraphs 9.6.13 of the Financial Conduct Authority's Listing Rules.
