JKX Oil & Gas plc ("JKX" or the "Company")
Result of AGM
JKX announces that at its AGM this afternoon Ordinary Resolutions 6 and 7 and Special Resolution 11 were passed. All other resolutions were not passed. It is noted that the main shareholder voting against these resolutions was Eclairs Group Limited, the owner of 47, 287,027 shares.
The Board convened a meeting and considered the implications of the votes. Considering that the independent oversight of the company is vital for the benefit of all shareholders it reappointed Alan Bigman and Bernie Sucher as independent non-executive directors.
The Board will continue to assess the implications of these votes and will consult with shareholders and will make further announcements as necessary.
