Further Extension of Standstill Agreement

Further to the announcement on 30 January 2009, the Company's lenders have agreed to extend the standstill arrangements to 16 March 2009, subject to the lenders remaining satisfied with the progress of the Company's proposed disposal of its Fitness Clubs business, further details of which were announced earlier this week.

In connection with this extension the Company has agreed to pay the lenders a fee of £166,500 that will be offset against previously agreed fees. The balance of the fees, approximately £8.0 million, is scheduled to be paid in March and April 2009.
