JJB Sports PLC ("JJB") is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreementwith Which? to settle the action brought against the company regarding certainreplica shirts sold during certain periods in 2000 and 2001. JJB will be making a payment to consumers who took part in Which?'s action, aswell as to customers who can provide proof of purchase of the particular shirts.Further information can be found on JJB's website www.jjbsports.com. JJB's offer, announced on the 9th February 2007, of a free England away shirtand mug to customers who still had one of the relevant replica shirts, is nolonger valid. Whilst JJB recognises the right of Which? to bring an action for damages againstthe company, JJB does not, in settling the action, acknowledge or admit that anyconsumers suffered loss giving rise to an action for damages as a result of itswords, actions, or behaviour.
