Statement re OFT investigation
JJB Sports PLC ("JJB") has been informed by the Office of Fair Trading (the "OFT") of its provisional decision to close its investigation into alleged anti-competitive conduct in the sports retail sector.
JJB notes this provisional decision and the OFT's expectation that it will reach a final decision later in the year.
As the leniency applicant, JJB has been co-operating fully with the OFT throughout its investigation, and will continue to do so. JJB is not in a position to comment on the reasons behind the OFT's provisional decision.
