Result of subscription exercise for Ordinary shares
The Board of the Company announces that no Ordinary shares were issued as a result of the annual subscription exercise.
The Board of the Company announces that subscriptions representing 0.06% of the Ordinary shares available for subscription have been received. As a result, the Company has today issued 13,639 Ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each from treasure. The Ordinary shares were issued at a price 258.34 pence per Ordinary share.
As at close of business on 13 April 2023, the Company's issued share capital comprises 33,724,958 Ordinary shares, carrying one vote each, of which 12,641,332 are held in Treasury. Therefore the total number of Ordinary shares with voting rights in the Company is 21,083,626.
The above figure (21,083,626) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
As outlined in the circular sent to shareholders relating to the subscription rights, all shareholders will have a further right to subscribe for shares on 31 March 2024 (on the basis of one new Ordinary share for every ten Ordinary shares held). The subscription price will be equal to the audited undiluted net asset value per share as shown in the published report and accounts prepared at 31 March in the previous year. A reminder will be sent to shareholders prior to the next subscription date.
