In conformity with the Transparency Directive, the Company would like to notify the market of the following:

As at 30th November 2018, the Company's issued share capital consists of 159,787,885 Ordinary 5 pence shares with voting rights. JPMorgan European Smaller Companies Trust plc does not hold any shares in Treasury.

Therefore, as at 30th November 2018, the total number of voting rights in JPMorgan European Smaller Companies Trust plc is 159,787,885.

The above figure (159,787,885) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, JPM Smaller Companies Investment Trust plc under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
