Posting of Shareholder Circular

JD Sports Fashion Plc has today posted a circular to Shareholders containing details of the proposed disposal of Canterbury and acquisition of the ONETrueSaxon Brand (the "Circular").

The Circular contains a notice convening a General Meeting of Shareholders at Hollinsbrook Way, Pilsworth, Bury, Lancashire, BL9 8RR, at 2.00 p.m. on Thursday 13 September 2012, at which approval for the Transactions will be sought.

A copy of the Circular has been submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will shortly be available for inspection at www.hemscott.com/nsm.do.

In addition, the Circular will shortly be available to view on the Company's website (www.jdplc.com), and will be available for inspection at the offices of Addleshaw Goddard LLP, Milton Gate, 60 Chiswell Street, London, EC1Y 4AG during usual business hours on any weekday (Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays excepted).
