In accordance with the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules sourcebook transitional provision 6, Phytopharm plc ("Phytopharm") hereby notifies the market of the following:
Phytopharm's issued share capital at 30 September 2012 consisted of 346,901,749 ordinary shares with voting rights. The Company did not, at that date, hold any shares in Treasury, and therefore the total number of ordinary shares in the Company with voting rights was 346,901,749.
The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Phytopharm plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
