Appointment of CFO
Cambridge, UK - Ubisense Group plc ("Ubisense" or the "Company") (AIM:UBI), a market leader in real time location intelligence solutions, announces the appointment of Robert Parker as Chief Financial Officer ("CFO") with effect from 10 February 2014.
Robert Parker, aged 48, joins the Board of Directors (the "Board") of Ubisense from Optitune plc where he was CFO since 2012. Mr Parker brings extensive experience in both the strategic development and operational management of high growth, multicultural businesses. He has a proven track record of driving organic growth, executing M&A and raising finance in both the private and public markets.
Gordon Campbell has stepped down as CFO and from the Board as of 10 February 2014, having joined Ubisense in 2004 with the principal objective of securing the Company's listing on AIM. Mr Campbell will continue with the business to facilitate a smooth transition with Mr Parker, whilst also focusing on the continued integration of the Group's recent acquisition of Geoplan Interworks K.K., as announced on 3 December 2013, and other corporate projects.
Save as disclosed above and detailed below, there are no other details to be disclosed regarding Mr Parker's appointment as required under paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules.
