Appointment of Chief Executive Officer

Impellam Group plc ("Impellam", the "Company" or the "Group") - London AIM: IPEL; 8 April 2013

Impellam is pleased to announce the appointment of Julia Robertson, 54, as Group Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect. Julia joined Carlisle in 2000 following the acquisition of the Tate business. Following the 2008 Impellam merger she was appointed as the divisional CEO of Impellam's UK Staffing businesses which represent 63% of Group revenues. Prior to working for the Group, Julia was Chief Executive of the Institute of Employment Consultants (the forerunner of the Recruitment Employment Confederation), the professional body for the UK recruitment industry in the UK and founded her own recruitment business, which was sold to Carlisle alongside Tate.

Her knowledge of the Group and extensive insight into the industry will be invaluable in moving Impellam forward through a mixture of organic growth and selective market expansion building on the platform efficiencies that have already been established.
