Board change
Island Oil & Gas plc, announces today that Karl Prenderville has decided to step down as Commercial Director and a Director of the Company with immediate effect. Karl has worked for the Company since July 2006 and joined the Board on 23 August 2007. He is standing down to dedicate time to other ventures.
With effect from today, the Company's commercial business will be assumed by Carl Kindinger, who joined the executive Board as Chief Financial Officer in October. Karl Prenderville will continue to work for the Company until the end of 2008 ensuring an effective handover of responsibilities
