Publishing Technology shines at the London Book Fair
Publishing Technology plc (AIM : PTO), the largest software and services provider to the publishing industry, announces that its report & accounts for the year ended 31 December 2011 and notice of Annual General Meeting have been sent to shareholders and copies are available on the Company's website, www.publishingtechnology.com. The Company's AGM will be held at 10.00am on Wednesday 16 May, 2012 at its registered office, 8100 Alec Issigonis Way, Oxford Business Park North, Oxford OX4 2HU.
In addition, the Company also announces that it enjoyed a successful London Book Fair last week. The book fair, which is one of the publishing industry's biggest annual trade events, saw the leading international publishers focus on the continuing digital transformation of the market and China, the biggest publishing market by volume in the world. Publishing Technology, as a key partner to many publishers in both digital development and in providing access to Chinese markets, had a high profile presence and strong media coverage during the book fair.
George Lossius, Publishing Technology CEO, spoke at the keynote CEO panel for the book fair, discussing the digital transformation of the industry. Publishing Technology recently launched the 'Digital Gateway' with CNPIEC, the biggest importer and exporter of books into and out of China. This significant new digital publishing venture in China will allow 15,000 Chinese libraries to access western publisher content.
