Update on shareholder returns
Informa PLC ('the Company') (LSE: INF.L), the international B2B Events, Specialist Data, Digital Services and Academic Markets Group today provided an update on its Share Buyback programme
Share Buyback Programme
In February 2022, as part of its commitment to accelerate shareholder returns, Informa announced a share buyback programme of up to £1bn. The buyback programme was extended by £150m on 14 November 2023 and further extended by £250m on 8 March 2024, taking the total programme to £1.4bn.
As part of the extended share buyback, on 02 April 2024, the Company purchased 149,374 ordinary shares for cancellation through Morgan Stanley & Co. International plc at an average price of 824.51 pence per share. The highest and lowest purchase price paid per share were 832.00 and 820.00 respectively, with the aggregate details of shares purchased by trading venue as outlined in the table below:

Following settlement of the above purchases and cancellation of the purchased ordinary shares, the Company's total number of ordinary shares in issue, and its total voting rights, will be 1,363,366,676 ordinary shares. The Company does not hold any shares in Treasury.
In accordance with Article 5(1)(b) of the Market Abuse Regulation, a full breakdown of the individual trades made as part of the buyback programme is detailed in the attachment.
