Indus Gas Limited (AIM:INDI.L), an oil and gas exploration and development company with assets in India, is pleased to announce the appointment of Clive Gibbons as a non-executive director of the Company with immediate effect.

Clive is an experienced Operations Director, specialising in the corporate and fiduciary services sector and currently works at the Newhaven Group, based in Guernsey. Clive is a qualified Independent Investment Financial Advisor Level 3, compliance manager, accredited director, approved by the Guernsey GFSC (Guernsey regulator), BVI FSC (BVI regulator), with over 18 years in the sector. He was previously a Managing Director in the Cayman Islands for Vistra and previously worked at Close Brothers (Close Finance), Kleinwort Benson and Royal Bank of Scotland International.

Commenting, Peter Cockburn, Chairman of Indus, said:
