On 17 December 2018, 3i Group plc (the "Company") was notified that on 17 December 2018 a Share Appreciation Rights Award granted to Mr R Collins under the 3i Group Deferred Bonus Plan vested. Mr R Collins is a person discharging managerial responsibilities of the Company.
On that date Mr R Collins became entitled to a cash payment equal to 754.6p per Share in respect of the 61,271 notional ordinary shares ("Shares") of 73 19/22p each (ISIN: GB00B1YW4409) in the Company.
It should be noted that the award was a phantom award giving rise only to an entitlement to a cash payment by reference to the market value of Shares. No actual transaction in Shares was involved.
