3i Group plc: non-executive Director appointment

Hemant Patel

3i Group plc announces the appointment of Hemant Patel as a non-executive Director with effect from 3 February 2025.

Hemant has been Chief Financial Officer of Whitbread PLC since March 2022 and previously held a variety of senior finance and commercial roles at Whitbread, Greene King, Asda and Mars.

Hemant was a non-executive Director and Audit Chair at the Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport from 2020 to 2023 as well as being on the board of the Cultural Recovery Fund. Hemant was also Chair of the Royal Armouries Museum and was awarded an MBE for services to museums and heritage in the 2020 birthday honours list.

Hemant is a Chartered Management Accountant.
