Intercede announces MyID now part of HP Assured Identity Plus

Large Scale Identity Programs Targeted

Intercede (London Stock Exchange AIM: IGP), the producer of MyID, a world-leader in identity and credential management systems (IDCMS), announces that HP now offers MyID as a component of its Assured Identity Plus solutions. Under the agreement, Intercede and HP will target large scale Federal, state and local government agencies and major enterprise customers.

Intercede's MyID Identity and Credential Management System is a secure and powerful COTS product that sets a new standard for ease of use and integration. MyID is used by 14 US Federal Agencies and is deployed in support of more than 2 million smart cards issued under the Transportation Worker Identity Credential (TWIC) program. Corporate customers include major banks, aerospace and defense contractors and other organizations with high value assets. Around the world, MyID is used for national ID programs and major health care initiatives.

Today, securely managing the identities of employees is a priority for government agencies and major corporations. The Global Identity Practice within the Enterprise Services organization at HP is a proven leader in developing and implementing enterprise-wide and end-to-end identity management solutions.
