KP Renewables PLC09 August 2006 Director appointment - correction The following replaces the Director Appointment announcement released on 4August 2006 at 5.15pm under RNS number 3011H KP Renewables plc ("KPR" or the "Company"), the AIM-quoted, UK aggregator,investor, and developer of independent green energy projects, is pleased toannounce the appointment of Paul Goodrow as Finance Director with immediateeffect. The Company announced Robert Smyth's intention to resign as Finance Director on7 June 2006. As a result of Paul's appointment, Robert will step downimmediately. The Board would like to thank Robert for his contribution to theCompany. William Paul Goodrow C.A. (57) is a senior financial executive, who has beenunder contract to provide corporate finance, corporate planning and financialadministrative services to Kwikpower International plc and its subsidiariessince December 2004. His previous positions include Vice President of CorporateDevelopment with Pearson BioEnergy, Inc., director and senior officer of MadisonPartners Inc and Chief Financial Officer of Hariston Corporation. Mr Goodrow isa chartered accountant, having trained with Clarkson Gordon in Hamilton, Ontario(now Ernst & Young) and is currently a Director of Corporate Capital Group Ltd,Pearson BioEnergy Inc., Kwikpower International plc and KP Wellman Ltd. Paul Goodrow was previously a director of Madison Partners Limited which enteredinto a voluntary arrangement with its creditors in 1994. He was also a directorof GroWmax Systems Inc. which entered into a voluntary arrangement with itscreditors in 2001. No further information falls to be disclosed under the AIM rules.
