Immunodiagnostic Systems Holdings plc (AIM: IDH), a leading producer of specialist diagnostic testing kits for the clinical and research markets, announces that Anthony "Tony" Wilks, Sales and Marketing Director, will step down from his board position on 1 September. Tony, who now resides in Germany, will continue to work for the Group in a new role. The Company also announces that from the same date Lynda A. Merrill has been appointed as Group Sales and Marketing Director.

Lynda joins IDS most recently from QIAGEN N.V. ("QIAGEN"), where she was Vice President, Molecular Diagnostics Sales for the EMEAA (Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia) region, responsible for the total diagnostics business for QIAGEN. Prior to this, Lynda spent 10 years working for Gen-Probe, a San Diego based company that develops, manufactures and markets rapid Nucleic Acid Tests. Lynda held a number of roles at Gen-Probe including Vice President for Industrial Relationships and Vice President of World Wide Marketing and Sales. In the latter of the two roles, she implemented global marketing and pricing strategies and grew product revenues from $96m in 1999 to $223m in 2003.
