Director/PDMR Dealing and Total Voting Rights
Ideagen PLC (AIM: IDEA), a leading supplier of Information Management software to highly regulated industries, announces that David Hornsby, Executive Chairman of the Company, has exercised 1,833,333 options over new ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") and subsequently sold 260,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of 147.5 pence per Ordinary Share. Following the exercise and sale Mr. Hornsby's beneficial interest has increased by 1,573,333 Ordinary Shares to 10,224,741 Ordinary Shares representing 4.6 per cent. of the total voting rights of the Company.
In addition, Alex Hewitt, Chief Legal Officer of the Company, has exercised 380,000 options and sold 380,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of 147.5 pence per Ordinary Share. Following the exercise and sale Mr. Hewitt now has a beneficial interest in 5,750 Ordinary Shares representing less than 0.1 per cent. of the total voting rights of the Company.
Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the 2,213,333 new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM ("Admission") and it is expected that Admission will become effective and trading will commence at 8.00 a.m. on 23 October 2019.
After Admission, the total number of Ordinary Shares in issue will be 223,582,702 and the total number of voting rights will therefore be 223,582,702. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
