Intermediate Capital Group PLC30 March 2006 30th March 2006 END OF FINANCIAL YEAR Intermediate Capital Group PLC, Europe's leading independent provider ofmezzanine finance, is updating the market on current trading prior to the closeperiod. As a consequence of a change of year-end the latest financial year is for a14-month period to 31st March 2006. Core income, made up of net interest income,fund management and other fee income less expenses, will be broadly in line withmarket expectations. However, due to the exceptionally strong exit market forbuy-outs, net capital gains have been particularly strong and as a result weexpect overall pre-tax profits in excess of market expectations.
