Treasury shares
On 12 December 2016, the Company transferred 11,838,706 treasury shares for nil consideration to the ICAP Employee Share Trust.
Shares held by the Company as treasury shares were previously used to satisfy awards under the Company's share plans. Following the transfer, these shares will continue to be available to satisfy awards following the scheme of arrangement.
Following the above transaction, the Company holds no treasury shares and has 664,537,006 ordinary shares in issue.
