Notification of Transactions of Directors/Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility ('PDMR') and Connected Persons
THE UK COAL 2010 LONG TERM INCENTIVE PLAN ('LTIP')
In order to incentivise and deliver performance and in line with best practice followed by other publicly listed companies, a substantial part of the Executive Directors' remuneration package will be awards of shares under the Company's long term incentive plan.
To comply with DTR 3.1.4, the Company therefore advises that on 20 April 2011, awards of ordinary shares of 1p each were made under the LTIP rules to the Directors listed below. The number of shares stated is the maximum available on satisfaction of performance targets in full. No shares will vest unless the performance targets are achieved.
The earliest date on which the persons named below would become beneficially entitled to the shares comprised in the awards is 20 April 2014, which is the third anniversary of the date on which the awards were granted.
Gareth Williams (Managing Director, Mining): 666,665 shares
Owen Michaelson (Managing Director, Property): 666,665 shares
David Brocksom (Finance Director): 680,217 shares
