PRELIMINARY FINANCIAL DATA FOR THE YEAR OF 2021
The Board of Huatai Securities Co., Ltd. (the "Company") hereby announces Preliminary Financial Data for the Year of 2021.
The key financial data of the Company for the year of 2021 as contained herein prepared in accordance with the China Accounting Standards for Business Enterprises are preliminary financial data which have not been audited by an accounting firm. The final data will be disclosed in the Company's 2021 annual report. Shareholders of the Company and potential investors are hereby reminded of the investment risks that may result therefrom.

Note: The net assets per share attributable to owners of the listed company presented in the above table includes the perpetual bonds issued by the Company. After excluding this impact, the net assets per share attributable to ordinary shareholders of the listed company was RMB15.25 at the end of the reporting period.
II. Explanations on the Operating Results and Financial Conditions
In 2021, the domestic economy overcame the impact of the epidemic and continued to improve, the capital market flourishing. The Company promoted technology empowerment from partial breakthroughs to overall coverage and speeded up in unleashing the energy of the platform-based operation. As more and more customers consider Huatai as the prioritized institute for continuous services, the ideal on empowering customers through platforms is gradually coming true. In 2021, the overall business performance of the Company set a historical high and our comprehensive domestic and overseas strength soundly ranked in the forefront of the industry. As of the end of 2021, total assets of the Group amounted to RMB806,651 million and net assets attributable to shareholders of the listed company amounted to RMB148,423 million. In 2021, the Group recorded operating income of RMB37,905 million and net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company of RMB13,346 million.
