Arena das Dunas Stadium in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil

Hightex Group plc, a leading systems engineering company, which designs, fabricates and installs large area, cable supported, lightweight membrane roofs and façades worldwide, is delighted to announce that the Group and its Brazilian construction partner SEPA have been selected to engineer and install the inner liner membrane structure of the roof of the Arena das Dunas in Natal, one of the venues for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

This is the third contract won by the Hightex and SEPA partnership for a stadium to be used in the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. It follows winning contracts for the Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro and for the Beira-Rio Stadium in Porto Alegre. The Arena das Dunas is a new stadium and will accommodate 45,000 spectators.

The engineering work will start immediately and the construction is due to be completed by the end of 2013.

The Natal membrane structure increases Hightex's contracted revenues for 2013, from contracts secured to date, to approximately EUR 16.4 million. Hightex continues to pursue vigorously further projects in Brazil related to the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Olympic Games, in addition to a number of other projects in Europe, the Middle East and South East Asia.

Frank Molter, Chief Executive Officer, commented: "We are delighted to have won this contract. With our existing work on the Maracana and the Beira-Rio Stadium projects, it is a further acknowledgement of our significant expertise and experience.

We look forward building on these recent successes and exploiting Hightex's core technical skills, its high quality German engineering know-how and significant track record both in Brazil and globally."
