Board Changes

Hornby Plc, the international models and collectibles Group, ("Hornby" or "the Group") today announces the appointment to the Board of Martin George as a Non-Executive Director. Separately, the Group announces that Charlie Caminada is stepping down from his position on the Board as Non-Executive Director.

Martin George has extensive experience in Marketing and Commercial roles. He is currently Chief Commercial Officer of The Post Office Limited as well as Chairman of Grays International Limited. He was previously Non-Executive Director at Thorntons plc, Group Development Director and Group Marketing Director at BUPA and Commercial Director at British Airways.

Roger Canham, Executive Chairman, said,

"Martin has deep commercial experience across a number of consumer businesses and I am very pleased to welcome him to the Board. I am sure that Martin will make a major contribution to the Group as we continue to manage the Hornby turnaround.

"Charlie has been on the Board for three years, during which time he has helped to steer the business through a period of major change, including our two successful re-financings. Charlie also acted as Interim Executive Sales Director for six months earlier this year.

"I would like to thank Charlie for the significant contribution he has made to Hornby over the last three years and to wish him every success in the future".
