Gareth Jones appointed as CFO of TLA
TLA Worldwide plc (AIM: TLA), the athlete representation and sports marketing business, today announces that Gareth Jones (age 30), Group Financial Controller, has been promoted to CFO and has joined the Company's Board effective from 29 November 2012.
Gareth joined TLA having previously advised the Company on its flotation whilst working for the Company's broker and nominated adviser, Cenkos Securities plc ("Cenkos"). Prior to joining Cenkos, Gareth spent four years within the Audit and Assurance practice of Ernst & Young where he worked on companies varying in size from start-ups to FTSE 100 clients.
Gareth holds a CA qualification and is a member of the Institute of chartered accountants of Scotland.
TLA CEO Mike Principe commented, "I am delighted that Gareth will be taking on the role of CFO. He has a keen understanding of both our business and that of the public markets, which make him ideally suited for the role.
