Ottakar's PLC30 March 2006 OTTAKAR'S PLC The Board of Ottakar's plc ("Ottakar's") has noted the announcement by theCompetition Commission ("CC") that it has provisionally concluded that a mergerof Ottakar's and HMV Group plc would not lead to a substantial lessening ofcompetition in the market for the retail sale of new books to consumers in anypart of the UK.
